I always get this question from fans. Remember when you had to drive to a store, dig through all the product on the shelves, and hope that the CD or record you picked up was actually good? For better or worse, those days are gone.
The good news is that you can still buy music, even without the store. In fact, you are able to preview and purchase my music, without ever leaving your house. How awesome is that?!
I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Johnny Winter. I will never forget the first time I heard him play "Be Careful With A Fool", and I just have to share it now.
Johnny played the blues so fast and clean that I thought he was super human. He was raw and real, a great guitarist and Texas Tornado.
Thank you for all the great years of some of the finest blues rock, Johnny. Nobody will ever sound like you. You were one of a kind.
I am thrilled to announce the US release of Let My Guitar Do The Talking, an all-instrumental album that I am proud to say is all guitar, all the time. Please click on the video below for a preview. Enjoy!
Also, this album is available for purchase, in digital or physical format, exclusively in our new online STORE.
To my Dad, Nick Athas, and each of his brothers, Bill, Angelo and Sam, who were WWII veterans, I salute you. To my cousin, Jimmy Psalidas, who inspired me to play guitar and to Larry Samford who wrote and sang amazing music with me...I am honored to have known you. Each and every man was a man of character.
To ALL the men and women around the world and here at home, THANK YOU for your service and sacrifice serving our country.
My brother is gone, and his words are the gift he left with us.
Had a talk with God this morning 'bout me and you Turned my face to the heavens And cried, "God, what am I gonna do?".........without you.......
He was one of the best men I ever knew. He was the most honest, "I've got your back" kind of man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He left a hole in my heart that no one but Larry can fill. Please pray continuously for Tracy and all of Larry's family as we learn to live without him.
