A Tribute to Larry Samford

After receiving tragic news yesterday, I'm devastated by and in shock at the loss of Larry Samford. I never imagined that his words and the music we made together would sum up how I'm feeling at this very moment. I never imagined him being gone.

Larry, you were a talented artist, a partner, a friend, and a brother. I'm honored to have worked so closely with you, and to have lived my life with you in it.  I love you, Larry.

A First

I'm currently on the John Mayall tour in Europe. While it is an incredible opportunity and I love being out here, it's not all sightseeing and concerts. Most of our time is spent on a bus traveling from one city to the next or setting up for the next show. However, we occasionally get a chance to explore the city we're in before moving on.

One of those rare chances to explore came when we were in Rome. Can you believe it was the first time ever that we have been there together?

It's a beautiful city, and we had a wonderful time. Time to hit the road again. Ciao!
